group fitness CLASSES

Every SHADOWCAT FITNESS class is designed to enable participants to adjust the tempo and resistance for their individual needs. All skill levels are encouraged to participate! Please let your instructor know if you have any injuries or conditions before/during/after class. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and sweat towel. If you need to borrow a yoga mat, we have some available!

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT

Functional Movement classes deliver a full body strength conditioning and core workout. We emphasize moving slowly and mindfully in ways that have practical applications to our day-to-day lives, gradually building strength. We’ll use a variety of props including weights, kettlebells, resistance bands, Pilates balls, and more, depending on the class.

STABILITY + MOBILITY

Stability + Mobility classes focus on increasing range in the joints such as the shoulder, hip, ankles, and spine, and strengthening smaller muscles throughout the body through controlled and intentional movement. You don’t have to be “flexible” to take this class! Everyone can benefit from this practice.

Join SHADOW CAT FITNESS and Dovetail Cellars for a guided movement session designed to improve our active joint range of motion and control. We’ll move slowly and intentionally, deepening our mind-body connection, release tension, and support our joint health. Includes one hour of mobility practice and a glass of wine to enjoy with community! Please bring a yoga mat and a water bottle.
